We know, we know, it's November and uttering the C word is usually a tad depressing, but not this time! We have some really exciting Christmas events coming up and they are all in December, so you might feel a bit more festive by then, yes?
So, we love a good old sing (even though, we haven't got the best of voices!) and this forms the theme for some of our Christmas events. So, get your mitts on these...
Sing-a-long Muppets Christmas Carol
Nothing screams 'It's CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAASSS' like Charles Dickens' timeless tale, A Christmas Carol. But what could give it that added sparkle of Christmas cheer? The Muppets plus a sing-a-long of course! There's no better way to get in the spirit than some festive warbling with Kermit and Miss Piggy and a few 'booooo's' at Ebenezer Scrooge! A wonderful story suitable for the whole family will have you laughing, talking like Michael Caine and dancing in the aisles.
The screening will be preceded by sock muppet making where you can craft your very own Muppet to help you sing a long. With games of 'pin the nose on Gonzo', a Christmas jumper contest, as well as a muppet inspired drawing wall, you'll well and truly be ready for the big day.

Christmas Baby Ballads
Back by popular demand and feeling festive, we bring you Baby Ballads, the Christmas edition. Join us for sessions in both Gosforth and Gateshead, as we introduce the little ones to a top assortment of Christmas inspired classics, featuring Mariah Carey, The Pogues and East 17 - yes, you heard us!
Clear that throat and get ready for some seriously great songs in a relaxed atmosphere. Christmas jumpers encouraged, tuneful voices optional, power grabs essential.
See our current events pages for dates of sessions.
Lost and Found
Join us for a relaxed screening of a truly magical tale of loneliness and firendship, Lost and Found. Based on the award-winning book by Oliver Jeffers, this beautifully animated short film, narrated with the dulcet tones of Jim Broadbent, will delight both adults and little ones alike.
One day, a boy finds a penguin on his doorstep and decides to take it home...even if that means rowing all the way to the South Pole.
The screening will be preceded by crafting miniature boats, playing in our sea scape, drawing on our giant drawing floor and frolicking in the snow.
Come and join us for some festive fun!
